Client Testimonials

“I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your entire team for the efforts to complete the thin set epoxy terrazzo flooring on the above project.

As you know, the project had many schedule and logistical challenges that had to be mitigated in order to allow for a successful completion. CSM was a part of these efforts in assisting with needed moisture mitigation in order to complete the epoxy terrazzo flooring. In support of the project schedule, CSM was there for us. The work was scheduled and coordinated very well, installations completed without issue and with a high level of quality.

In addition, the work of applying terrazzo treads and risers to the main stair was completed timely and without interruption to the other ongoing efforts.

The Owner has been utilizing the facility and is very happy with the level of quality of the finishes. Thank you again for your efforts on this project and we look forward to the next opportunity to work together.”

“Please accept this letter as reference for CSM Tile Company, Inc. Two of the recent projects they completed for Bette & Cring, which I was the Project Manager on, were the Guthrie Medical Center at Fort Drum, and the Cornell University Martha Vanrensallaer Phase 2B.

On the Guthrie Medical Project, which was a $176,000 subcontract for CSM, they were responsible for furnishing and installing ceramic and porcelain tile in various areas of the Clinic. This was a multiple phased project that spanned over three years. CSM coordinated their work well and always provided timely quality work.

On the Cornell Project, which was a $169,000 subcontract for CSM, they were responsible for furnishing and installing ceramic tile, porcelain tile, and epoxy terrazzo. Their workmanship on this project was also excellent.”

“Clark Patterson Lee is the hospitals Architect/Engineer and has designed the above project which amongst other program items consisted of a new front door for the hospital. The flooring contractor for the lobby that was had designed into the project of epoxy terrazzo was CSM Tile Co.

Through the construction process CSM worked with our CM to coordinate phases and accommodate the hospital’s demands and control noise and construction odors that are inherent with the product that was used. The outcome of the project followed our designed and put it to life.

CSM for our project was the right contractor to work with the CM, the owner and ourselves to make the outcome a success. ”

“CSM Tile Company, Inc. recently installed thin set epoxy terrazzo floor finishes and stair treads and risers @ SU – School of Management over the summer school break.

The thin set epoxy resin matrix terrazzo was installed over a new elevated concrete slab infill where a planter was removed. In addition there were +/- 130 stair riser/tread fabricated epoxy terrazzo units about 5′-0″ in width that had to be replaced in 2 stairwells. Due to the window of construction during the summer break, everything had to be field verified in their existing conditions prior to removal due to the long lead time of fabrication.

The workmanship was excellent and attention was paid to each detail. The material fit like a glove and the terrazzo matrix mathced perfectly. The workers under the supervision of Bill were professional, cooperative and understanding in moving around to meet some of SU’s summer seminars. The job site was kept neat and orderly.

I would use CSM Tile Company again for future projects in which they are currently on 3 more of mine and recommend them to anyone looking for an honest contractor who can provide high quality terrazzo / ceramic tile work.

I welcome any questions you may have on my evaluatio of CSM Tile Company.”

Project Manager, The Hayner Hoyt Corporation

“CSM Tile Company has recently completed two very difficult projects for the Hayner Hoyt Corporation at the Fulton Medical Center and The Campus West Apartments.

Fulton Medical was an interior project consiting of (36) toilet rooms, vestibules, stairs, and a very complicated reception and snack bar. The schedule was very constricted for work to be performed. There were many different colors and difficult patterns that were integrated into floors and walls. CSM performed all work within allotted time frame, work was excellent quality, neatly organized and the craftsmen were very professional and take pride in the finished project. Any issues or concerns were addressed in a cooperative manner and resolved timely and professionally.

Campus West housing CSM installed 30,000 sq. ft. of 6″x12″ tile to the exterior of the building as siding, the majority of the work had to be performed from scaffold. This was a unique installation for all involved, CSM worked with the design team and GC to develop details and assemblies that would perform for all materials. CSM installed all products in a professional manner and without any issue. The work was completed timely and with very little issue. The work was done safely, timely, and quality was kept to a high standard by the crafstmen performing the intallation.

I would use CSM Tile Company for future projects, knowing that working with them problems and quality are not an issue and the finished product will be of the highest quality.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding CSM Tile.”

I would use CSM tile Company again for future projects and recommend them to anyone looking for an honest contractor who can provide high quality terrazzo work.
