Chris Kimberly has been setting tile since 1985 and founded CSM Tile in Chittenango in 2001. His family is still part of the day-to-day: Shawna is our Lead Estimator and Michael is our Assistant Project Manager. You'll know who you work for.

The Work We Do
We're a full-service commercial flooring contractor. Our crews install:
Tile: commercial ceramic, porcelain, large-format panels, and stone. CSM Tile is a member of the Tile Council of North America (TCNA).
Terrazzo: epoxy and cement terrazzo, including installation, repairs, and refinishing. CSM Tile is a contractor member of the National Terrazzo & Mosaic Association (NTMA).
Concrete Polishing and Staining: CSM Tile is a member of the Concrete Polishing Association of America (CPAA).
Epoxy Coatings: resinous floor coatings for commercial and industrial spaces.
Carpet and Resilient Flooring: carpet, LVT, VCT, and sheet vinyl.
We're actively hiring for:
Tile Setters: commercial ceramic, porcelain, large-format panels, and stone tile.
Tile Finishers: support the setters, prep and grout.
Terrazzo Installers: epoxy and cement terrazzo installation.
Terrazzo Finishers: grinding, polishing, and finishing terrazzo floors.
Epoxy Coating Installers: prep and install resinous floor coatings.
Epoxy Coating Finishers: finish coats, detailing, and touch-up on epoxy floors.
Concrete Polishing Installers: grinding and densifying concrete floors.
Concrete Polishing Finishers: polishing, staining, and sealing concrete floors.
Helpers: support the crew and learn the trade.
Flooring Installers: carpet, LVT, VCT, and sheet vinyl.
Other: have field experience in another trade? Tell us about it.
Skilled and experienced? If you're an experienced tile setter, finisher, or flooring installer, CSM Tile pays a competitive wage to anyone with the skills. Bring your experience and we'll put it to work on projects across Upstate New York.
New to the trade? No experience is needed for helper roles. If you're reliable and ready to learn, we want to hear from you.
Office and Project Team
Our office keeps the jobs moving, from the first bid to the final punch list. We're also hiring for:
Estimators: takeoffs, pricing, and bids for commercial tile and flooring projects.
Project Managers: run jobs from award to closeout and work with general contractors, submittals, and schedules.
Operations Supervisors: schedule crews, coordinate materials, and keep the field running smoothly.
Administrative Assistants: keep the office organized and support our project and accounting teams.
